# emitUploadProgress

Emit an upload progress event. This is typically used internally, but can be useful if you want to manually trigger an upload progress update.

### Usage

myRemoteStorage.emitUploadProgress(percent, fileName);
```

### Returns

`void`

This method does not return any value.

### Parameters

#### percent

* **Type** `number`

The progress percentage (0-100) of the upload.

#### fileName (Optional)

* **Type** `string`

The name of the file currently being uploaded.
